Sunday School
St. James Youth in grades 6-12 meet each Sunday morning in the Youth Room for Sunday School. A monthly rotation of teachers lead students through the LIVE! curriculum, a study that guides students toward a Jesus-centered life. Click here for more information about Sunday School

Middle schoolers and high schoolers gather regularly on Sunday evenings to connect with other students, have fun, worship together, and learn about Jesus in real and relevant ways. Check the Calendar to see when UMYF meets next.

Confirmation classes help teens and tweens begin to understand what it means to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus and prepare them to make their first public profession of faith. Email Martha or Pastor Wayne to learn when the next Confirmation sessions will begin.

At various times throughout the year, the St. James Youth have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities, such as day trips, retreats, and district events. Highlights include conference-wide events at Lake Junaluska, including Revolution and Immerse. Check the Calendar to see upcoming Youth events.

Mission/Service Opportunities
High-school students look forward to summer mission trips to Salkehatchie, where they repair the homes of needy families and reach out to these families and one another in friendship. In addition, the youth participate in local service projects throughout the year, including volunteering at the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen each 5th Sunday of the month. We hope you'll join us!
