Music helps bring to life the Word of God in multi-dimensional ways at St. James. Whether you are a casual listener or an accomplished performer, music ministries here will nourish your soul.

St. James has many opportunities for those who love music:

Chancel Choir
Meets for rehearsal every Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Choir Room

This choir performs a variety of classical and contemporary anthems during our 10:30 am worship service on Sundays. Under the direction of Betty Doll, and accompanied by Connie Gillespie, this choir is open to high schoolers through adults.

The Gathering Band

Worship Leader Hannah Horton leads our "The Gathering" praise band during our 10:15 a.m. worship service in our Fellowship Hall. 

Christmas Cantata and Special Music

Members of the choirs join together during Advent and Lent for special music performances for the congregation. We invite all interested singers to join us for this short-term commitment... it's a great way to try out the choir, or just to get in the holiday spirit!
