WORSHIP - Traditional Service

The traditional service meets every Sunday morning from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the Sanctuary.

The most convenient place to park is the parking lot on Savoy Street. Enter through the wooden double doors of the sanctuary, and proceed through the narthex to find a seat in the pews.

NOTE: After 10:35 am, all of the doors (except the main doors to the Sanctuary) are locked to protect our property, our members, and our visitors.

What to Expect

Our traditional-styled worship service is warm, comfortable, and engaging, incorporating liturgy, sermon, hymns, choral music as well as instrumental music. Typical music selections are a blend of contemporary and traditional music.

Communion is served on the first Sunday evening of each month. The table of Holy Communion is Christ's table, not the table of The United Methodist Church or of the local congregation. The table is open to anyone who seeks to respond to Christ's love and seeks to lead a new life of peace and love.

Children are encouraged to participate in worship with their families. There are fun activity bags available in the Narthex for children. In the traditional service, children (sometimes accompanied by their parents) are invited to the front of the sanctuary to hear a message prepared especially for them. Following this, children from PreK to 2nd grade are invited to attend Children’s Church in the Activities Building where children gather as a group for kid-focused stories, crafts, and fellowship. After the service is over, you can pick up your children in the KiDS Club Room at the end of the Activities Building hallway.

A nursery is also provided in the Sunday School wing for infants and toddlers.
